The Sneaker Culture

I’ve lived my life in name of the Swoosh.

I have even stepped foot in the German Powerhouse – Three Stripes, but never have I ever bought and trot A Sick pair of shoes.

I liked to think of myself as an equal opportunity employer, but until know I hadn’t realized my own prejudice.  After years of a biased lifestyle I have decided to turn a new leaf.  My intervention and road to recovery officially began when I found these…

Behold the

ASICS GEL LYTE III x MITA

These are the Michael “Meathead” Stivics to my Archie Bunker-esque bigotry.  The sneakers incorporate a plethora of material; suede, leather, patent leather and rubber along with an assortment of splatters, dribbles, cement and perforation.  No bigotry here, Mita managed to bring all races of sneakers together in one happy, and beautiful eclectic embrace.  I would describe these as being “Nastily Elegant.

I could not say that everyone will feel the same as I do about these sneakers as they do tend stand on the edge of decency.  But for those of you living on the edge who aren’t afraid of being a bit flashy, these are for you.  And for those of you who are seeking sneaker bigotry redemption like me, these sneaks are a step in the damn right direction.

Plus I here they are real comfy.

Unfortunately dropping abroad at Prime in Melbourne, Australia, good luck gettin your mitts on these.

“Leaves droppin like Fall.”  peace.
